After the death of Michael, Ozery passed into the possession of his heirs, who set here the brewery, new bridge, two mills, water driven sawmill, cobbled path, a plant for the production of candles and tanning. During the Valitsky in Ozery the small tobacco factory worked, as well as brewery and winery, whose products were in considerable demand.
On the shores of lake Rybnitsa opposite each other in a beautiful, picturesque places there were two farms, which belonged to Leopoldo Valcano – Casee (possibly hay) on the right Bank and Zadubje on the left. The heir of Michael Leopold Graf Walicki lived in Zadubje. Between farms there was boat service, but often had to travel to the farm through the dam in Ozery. The area was marshy and there weren’t good roads to the town (street of Kirov). Most likely, the count is tired of the dirt, and he decided to build a wooden bridge across the lake. Graf did not use this bridge for a long time, for helping the rebels in 1863 he was exiled to Irkutsk oblast, they confiscated all the property and almost 10 000 hectares of land (to make it easier to present: JSC “Ozery” has 10617 hectares of land) [3].
A well-known insurrection in 1863 became a tragedy for Ozyorsk population and nobility. There was the massacre between the Empire and fighters with pitchforks and scythes. According to the results of the insurrection all the land became Russian.
The uprising of 1863. in Ozery began in the night of 1 to 2 May 1863. The rebels attacked the forestry to get weapons. Capturing 20 guns, the rebels fled in Kurilovym Hill – elevated position among bogs. Later, the swamp will be called Holy. Led the rebels Alexander Aloysius, Lenkevich, retired middle-aged Lieutenant-Colonel of the Royal army. Against the rebels from Grodna to the town of Ozery was sent Colonel Tsege-von-Manteuffel (1827 – 1889) with two companies infantry and thirty Cossacks. On may 4, a squad of rebels (136 men and 25 hunting rifles at all) was blocked by the troops trapped into the swamp and almost all destroyed. The lake was in mourning. Too many people were killed. The authority decided not to aggravate the situation and helped to bury the dead people in the cemetery. The cemetery was excavated three mass graves, installed a 15-meter oak cros. Alexander Lenkevich miraculously survived, he headed the rebels in the battle of Milovidy, then went abroad [6],[13].
In the interwar years up to 1939, every year on November 11 in the Holy swamp, by the way, the existing (Annex 9), was held the funeral service. In September 1939, the crosses were destroyed after 2 years, looters have destroyed the whole cemetery in the Ozery. Broken with sledgehammers tombstones were used as building material to strengthen the outside of the yard. New 4 crosses (4th symbolic) established in 1996 and 1997 thanks to priest Galavu, recovered also a symbolic tomb, which serves as the altar during the funeral services in memorial Day (Appendix 3)[6].
These crosses (now 5) have always been the highest in the cemetery. Today there is a legend among locals that each spring on the graves of the snowdrops appear, so clean and white flowers, as if it the souls of the dead fighters for independent Belarus. As would there nor was, every spring these beautiful flowers decorate old Catholic graves in Ozery (Appendix 3).

The uprising in 1863 in the Lakes began in the night of 1 to 2 may 1863, the Rebels attacked Ozerskoe forestry, with the aim of seizing weapons. Capturing 20 guns, the rebels fled in Kurilovym Hill – elevated position among unwalkable bogs. Later, the swamp will be called Holy about these terrible actions, we are reminded ин huge crosses on the old Catholic cemeteries.
